Listen To The Sound of Earth

Public performance in Molvi Hall

This play is jalal tehrani's most adventurous performance. "listen to the sound of Earth is created through a chain of successive passages". A short story named " others" , a short play called "silver " , some lines of poetry and some pieces of intervening dialogues construct the text. The significant point of this play is some honored Iranian poets' cooperation with the Project , namely, Zia Movahed , Maftoonamini Amini, Mahammadali Sepanloo , Mohammadreza Aslani and Ali Babachahai. Each of these poets recited a few works of themselves during the performance.

A Season for Hunting Kites

Public performance in the main theater hall of the city

The main feature of this play is an actor’s presence on the main hall of the City Theater’s stage. Wading through her memories, a woman is looking for her family, herself and her identity. Although the script of the play is so poignant and tragic, by means of a selective approach to the actor’s form, conduct and acting style, the director tries to keep her from appearing pitiable and thus the play from becoming an elegy.

Around the world in eighty days

These two accompanying projects were being practiced and performed from the fall of 2015 to the spring of 2016. The rehearsal stage of these plays, with some students of Tehran School, continued to the last days of performance. These plays were performed without any advertisement, no photos were taken and they were not filmed. The target audience attended these performances from the rehearsal phase. A thorough explanation of this theatrical movement in Tehran School, which is referred to as “Amateur Theater” by Jalal Tehrani, calls for an appropriate opportunity.
